A close-up of an antique gold-painted ceramic set has just been sold for nearly half a billion dong in Hanoi

This pottery set with 18 items is made from royal glaze, an ancient glaze that was directly researched and restored by the artisans of Bat Trang Pottery Village.

Appearing at the exhibition on the occasion of the event to celebrate the 9th National Buddhist Congress at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, the 24K gold-painted ceramic altar set has attracted the attention of many people.

This 18-piece ceramic altar set costs more than 400 million VND. ($1=25,000 VND)

According to artisan Vuong The Cuong (Bat Trang Craft Village), who was directly involved in the restoration of the ancient royal enamel line, this worshiping suit is made from ancient yellow enamel with bold patterns of the Ly Dynasty with the symbol of a dragon rolling leaves. the theme at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, motifs are embossed, and painted in 24K gold highlighting the luxury.

This line of enamel has just been successfully restored after a long process of research, discovery, raw material screening and more than 1 year of testing. These are natural fossil materials in two lands, Hung Vuong Ancestral land (Phu Tho) and Yen Tu sacred land (Quang Ninh), mixed with Red River water and burned through red fire.

All are completely handmade.

To further enhance the value of the product, in addition to being handcrafted according to yin and yang – the five elements, it is also combined with 24K gold to draw lines, honor the color of the product, and bring more character to the product. Modern, catch up with today’s life.

This line of enamel has been successfully researched and restored by the artisans of Bat Trang Pottery Village.

 In addition, on each product delivered to customers, there are records and certificates to ensure origin.

Mr. Ta Van Thang, a representative of the manufacturer and distributor of this ceramic set, said that from this line of ancient enamel, his business has made ceramic sets with traditional values ​​and is recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization. Nam was confirmed to be the first unit to successfully restore the royal enamel line.

Textures are embossed and use the symbol of the Nghe in a pure Vietnamese style, not influenced by China.

Each product is carefully researched and meticulously crafted, outstanding to every detail.

The pattern is painted in 24K gold, highlighting the embossed pattern and the luxury of the product.

Although it costs more than 400 million dongs, this ceramic altar set has been ordered by many people according to the prototype.

“This 24k gold-painted ceramic altar set is sold for more than 400 million VND. As soon as we launched, we received a lot of orders according to the prototype”, Mr. Thang informed.

It is known that this set of ceramics will be displayed at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace from November 27-29, 2022 on the occasion of the welcoming event of the IX National Buddhist Congress, term 2022-2027.
