Dubbed the city of thousands of flowers, Da Lat has a suitable climate for many types of flowers to grow and attract tourists. Avocado flowers have not been a flower “inviting guests” to Da Lat for a long time, but Tran Van Cuong’s photo series “Da Lat in the blooming season of avocado flowers” causes fever in travel-loving groups. Most were overwhelmed by a yellow sky, surprised when in Da Lat there was a place to check in with this flower. “So beautiful!”, many people commented.

The avocado tree is located at Moc Tra Farm, a combination of a cafe and a penthouse. The large campus, rustic design helps visitors feel as familiar as returning home. Some experiences here are drinking coffee with a lake view, visiting a wind-hanging rose garden and checking in on the Korean wooden road overlooking the lake. Next to this road is a row of 4 large avocado trees, currently in full bloom.

Van Cuong said that avocado flowers can be found in many places, but there is a beautiful angle he has only seen in Moc Tra Farm. The avocado flower season begins after Tet, around February and March, and blooms and fades within a month. “Currently the avocado flowers have not fully bloomed, there are still many buds and they will be beautiful until the end of March. If you want to have a good photo, you should take advantage of it now,” Cuong said.

The rows of large avocado trees, blooming evenly, make it easy for visitors to take beautiful photos. Visitors should wear clothes in colors that are more prominent than flowers. The best time to take pictures is when the sky is blue and clear, from 7am to 11am. The afternoon is not the right time because the sun is light, it is difficult to see the brightest yellow of the flowers, the photo will be worse and darker. Van Cuong also noted that people should give way to each other to take pictures because this bridge is not wide, “If you are too busy, you will lose fun”.
