The hot air balloon festival “Hue Ancient Capital seen from the sky” was held at Ham Nghi yard next to Hue Citadel during the week of Hue Festival, attracting thousands of people and tourists to visit and experience. Many locals and tourists have experienced sitting on a hot air balloon to see the ancient capital of Hue from above. Ticket price on spot is 150,000 VND/person, flight on route 4.5 million VND/person.

Before the balloon departs, experts from Japan and Korea release the balloons and observe to determine the direction of the wind. This is to ensure that the balloon will land in a safe place.

The job of blowing up a hot air balloon requires players to have technique. The volunteer force is the soldiers in the 1st Battalion supporting the specialists.

Fortunately, my trip was safe,” said Mr. Khoa.

After about 30 minutes, the hot air balloon landed in the field of Tien Non village, about 5 km away. People in Tien Non village, Phu Mau commune, Hue city were excited when they saw the hot air balloon landing in their village for the first time.

After experiencing the hot air balloon flight, visitors will be picked up by the car of the organizers to return to the departure point. The hot air balloon festival will end on June 30.
