On Christmas Eve, people flock to the center of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to have fun and attend Mass, causing traffic jams.
From 6pm, Nha Tho street, Hoan Kiem district, crowded with people and tourists flocking to have fun, take pictures and attend Christmas at the Cathedral. This is a famous and familiar place on every holiday in Hanoi .
The junction of Church Street – Nha Chung is full of people. Christmas is right on the weekend, the weather is quite warm, so people go down to the streets to have more fun than usual.
“This year, there are no barriers to disease, I take my wife and children to the street to play, feeling very comfortable,” said Mr. Hau, who lives in Ha Dong district.
The front of the Cathedral is brightly colored, with a giant Christmas tree model over ten meters high.

In Ho Chi Minh City , at 20:30, the flow of people poured into the central streets such as Dong Khoi, Le Duan, Hai Ba Trung … more and more crowded.
At Ton Duc Thang Street at the intersection of Dong Khoi Street, the sea of people and vehicles were stuck.
Many buses inched little by little in the traffic jam on Ton Duc Thang street at 9 pm.
Similarly, at Le Duan Street, which leads to the city center, is crowded with people, leading to local congestion. More than a dozen traffic police are on duty at this road to regulate and remind people not to park on the roadway to avoid causing congestion.

Ngoc’s family moved from Thu Duc City to District 1 to have fun. “The baby is only 18 months old, feeling the Christmas atmosphere for the first time. My wife and I will let her play for a while and then return early to avoid traffic jams,” Ms. Ngoc said.
In front of the statue of Our Lady of Peace at Notre Dame Cathedral, District 1, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet prayed for blessings and health for her family and everyone.
