When finished, he planted simple pots and showed them online. Unexpectedly, he received a lot of compliments, including someone who wanted to order. Since then, he has gradually become more focused on the production of plant pots from cobblestone.

Having worked for a long time, he gradually created and sculpted the motifs on the pots to make his products more unique and more popular with customers. “Products carved with patterns will be more difficult, meticulous details, easy to break small details, because it is very hard cobblestone, so it will be difficult to carve,” he said.

Currently, an average pot he makes from half a day to a day, depending on how big or small the pot is. There are complicated pots that can take up to 3 days to complete.

To make pots from natural pebbles, Mr. Gia Phong had to use some simple machines such as cutters, mold grinders, drills to support, but it took a lot of time and new effort. complete a product.

For that reason, the selling price of a product ranges from a few hundred thousand dongs to several million dongs. Currently, each month, he sells an average of 10-15 pots, because he works randomly, so the quantity is not much, he mainly follows orders.

Talking about the standard of cobblestone to make potted products, he said that not all pebbles can be made, but it must be beautiful, the shape is a bit artistic and the stone must not have cracks. Sometimes, he goes to the stream to earn a little work gradually, sometimes he also has to go to buy new pebbles to.

The incense burner is made from cobblestone, but only when a customer orders it.

In addition to producing potted plants, he also makes other products such as statues for tea tables and incense burners from pebbles. However, these two items he rarely produces in excess and is available for customers to choose from, usually whoever has a need will order from him first and then he will do it.
