LANG SON – The mountains surrounding the valley, the population cluster and the rhythm of life in the highland commune of Huu Lung district impress visitors.

Author 8X Bui Vinh Thuan (Thuan Bui), a native of Lang Son, is a photography enthusiast, promoting the beauty of his homeland to domestic and foreign tourists. In this July, he made a series of photos “Scenery of Yen Thinh” in Huu Lung district, mainly taken from above. Huu Lung, along with Bac Son, Binh Gia, Van Quan and Chi Lang, established Lang Son Geopark in December 2021, with the aim of protecting geological, geomorphological and landscape heritage values ​​by Lang Son province. nature, cultural identity and biodiversity.

Yen Thinh, about 18 km from the center of Huu Lung town, has an overwhelmingly beautiful landscape, likened to “Ha Long on land” of Lang Son. This emerging unspoiled tourist destination has a favorable location, located on provincial road 243 connecting Yen Thinh commune with Huu Lien commune, Huu Lung district and going to Bac Son and Binh Gia districts.

The whole Yen Thinh commune has a natural area of ​​about 5,561 ha, with 9 villages, the highlight of the landscape is the magnificent limestone massif, nestled at the foot of the mountain are colorful fields, brown mud mixed with new young seedlings. transplant.

Yen Thinh has a diverse terrain created by nature, including hills, caves and valleys that converge ideal natural conditions to exploit experience tourism.

Many high mountains, with steep, steep cliffs, have been surveyed by climbing clubs, assessing the value and ability to develop this type of climbing. Currently, Yen Thinh has 8 climbing points with over 100 named climbing routes, levels from easy to difficult for each subject with different climbing experience needs.

In addition to limestone mountains, Yen Thinh also has jade-green lakes and streams winding around the valley, suitable for visitors to paddle, fish and admire the majestic nature. In the photo is Dang Can lake, surrounded by wide lawns, ideal for camping, behind the ravine is Lan Cut Lake.

To get to Lan Cut lake, visitors have to cross the forest a short distance of about 50m, compensate for the feeling of refreshment, enjoy the fresh air upon arrival.

Mr. Thuan Bui information that the water source here is taken from the limestone ravines; The system of ditches has been completed with enough water for agriculture.

The scenery is clear in the morning sun, one side is a residential cluster, and the other is a field separated by roads, blending into a beautiful landscape picture. In addition to the spectacular scenery, Yen Thinh is also home to 4 ethnic groups Kinh (mainly), Tay, Nung, Dao with more than 1,000 households, traditional 3-room or 5-room stilt houses.

Currently, Yen Thinh people have been doing tourism, this commune was recognized as a community tourist destination by Lang Son province in October 2020 within 3 villages including Dong Tien, Gao Ngoai and Lang Ang, choose some typical households to guide home improvement, purchase equipment and often organize professional training, skills to serve tourists.

It is the rainy season, so people take advantage of planting rice, sowing, uprooting (photo) and transplanting it into the field. In addition to rice, people also grow fruit trees such as guava, pomelo and many na along the mountain slopes.
