The cluster of temples and towers in Po Klong Garai is considered a cultural and tourist symbol in Ninh Thuan.

Po Klong Garai tower is the common name of the most beautiful cluster of Cham towers left in our country in Ninh Thuan. According to records, the work was built around the end of the 13th century and the beginning of the 14th century by King Shivaman (the Vietnamese call it Che Man).

Located on Trau hill, Do Vinh ward, Po Klong Garai tower is imbued with Cham cultural identity, worshiping King Po Klong Garai (Jaya Simhavarman) – who is said to have had many merits during the reign of Champa – Panduranga region. .

Unlike the clusters of Cham towers in Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, and Po Klong Garai in Ninh Thuan, which were built at a time when the art of sculpture and architecture of Champa had reached the perfect peak.

Created by skillful hands and unique construction techniques of the ancients, even after 800 years of existence, the tower cluster largely retains its integrity and majesty to this day. What remains at Po Klong Garai represents the pinnacle of architecture and sculpture of a culture that was once so illustrious in the past.

The cluster of towers has a relatively large scale with a total area of ​​​​about 10 hectares located on a hill with a panoramic view of a corner of Phan Rang – Thap Cham city.

Po Klong Garai is a complex consisting of 3 towers: main tower (21.59m high), fire tower (9.31m high), gate tower (8.56m high). The main tower is the place to worship the statue of King Po Klong Garai with a dome at the door and 2 large stone pillars engraved with ancient Cham characters, above is a bas-relief of the six-armed god Siva. In the East is the gate tower and the fire god tower lying to the south with the boat-shaped roof.
