BA RIA – VUNG TAU American magazine voted the 15 best resorts in Asia, of which the resort in Con Dao is the only representative of Vietnam on the list.

Travel magazine Travel + Leisure of the US announced the list of 15 best resorts in Asia. Results are based on online readers’ votes within the framework of the World’s Best Awards 2022. Evaluation criteria are based on facilities, location, service, food and overall value.

The ranking is calculated on a 100-point scale. Six Senses Con Dao in Con Dao , Ba Ria – Vung Tau province is the only representative of Vietnam appearing in the list, ranked 15th, with 96.8 rating points, just 0.08 points away from the 14th place is Alila Villas Uluwatu in Indonesia.

The resort has a long-standing reputation in Vietnam, which opened in late 2010. The resort is located next to a pristine beach, surrounded by majestic mountains. The resort has a total of 50 villas and private rooms, the design is inspired by the houses in the traditional fishing village with Vietnamese breath, combined with contemporary architecture. Rooms have infinity pools facing the sea.

This is also the first and only 5-star resort in Con Dao. This place was once stayed by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie during their vacation in 2011. The average room rate per night is about 15 million VND.

In the list, Southeast Asia has 7 more representatives, from Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia. The Maldives excelled in taking the first two places. Which, leading the list is the Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi resort with 99.11 reviews from visitors.
