Halloween is a ghost costume festival originating from the West, taking place on the night of October 31 every year. On weekends, Hang Ma Street (Hanoi) is bustling with people passing by, having fun and shopping with all kinds of colorful and colorful costumes.

In addition to traditional Halloween decorations such as pumpkins, capes, masks…, in Hang Ma this year, there are also many horrors and spooky models that make viewers “panic.” grab” when approaching. 

According to the owner of a decoration business on Hang Ma Street, right after the full moon night ended, the store quickly imported and sold items for Halloween. Compared to every year, the store has imported more types of masks with more horror and spooky designs, and it is these products that attract customers the most.

Horror items are for sale with prices ranging from a few hundred thousand dong to several million dong. Not only come to buy, many people also save themselves souvenir photos.

Uncle Nguyen Tuyet Nhung (Hong Ha Street, Hoan Kiem) said that taking advantage of the weekend, he brought his two grandchildren to Hang Ma to buy masks for the Masquerade Festival.

Binh’s family (Hai Ba Trung) brought their son Gia Huy to Hang Ma and selected a product to their son’s liking, which is a costume based on the character “Faceless”. She said that in a few days, her son’s school will organize Halloween for them, and this is his favorite character.

Hang Ma Street with a variety of items and colors is also a familiar place for young people to take pictures to check-in every Halloween season. 

Trinh Thi Huyen Trang, a second-year student at Hanoi Pharmaceutical College, and her best friend from Phung Khoang (Ha Dong) came to have fun and take pictures around Hang Ma street. Trang said, this is the second time I have the opportunity to go out on Halloween, I feel that this place is decorated quite beautifully, with many colors, an ideal place to save beautiful moments.

As the evening goes on, the number of people flocking to Hang Ma Street is getting more and more crowded, sometimes the vehicles mix with the flow of people, causing slight congestion.

In addition to Hang Ma Street, Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street on the evening of October 29 was also full of people flocking to this area to have fun on the weekend.

Thousands of people gathered in front of the Ly Thai To monument’s flower garden square, walking and participating in activities held on the pedestrian street.
