Ba Faucet Waterfall in the west of Quang Tri, more than 100 m high with a system of three consecutive waterfalls, is still pristine because it has not been exploited for tourism.

Ba Faucet Waterfall is located in Huong Hiep commune, Dakrong district, located in the middle of the majestic Truong Son forest with thousands of ancient trees.

The water flowed loudly, splashing white foam, a kilometer away could still hear the sound of running water. The width of the waterfall is not large, but the waterfall is more than 100m high, majestic among the thousands.

The water on the top of the waterfall divides into three streams and flows down the steep cliffs, so the locals call it Ba Faucet waterfall.

Above the Ba Faucet waterfall is the peak of Voi Mep mountain, 1,707m above sea level. This is the highest mountain of Quang Tri province.

Ba Faucet waterfall system consists of three waterfalls, in which this is the third waterfall, the farthest is located upstream.

Below the waterfall there is a small lake, the water is cool because it flows between the forest and the rocks.

The waterfall has not been exploited for tourism, so it is still wild. Occasionally, only forest rangers, forest guards, backpackers, researchers, or some local people come.

This is the one waterfall in the system. This waterfall has a lower height, but the lake is wider. According to local people, this lake is from 5 to 7m deep, there are much cool fish the size of a hand. Cool fish is a local specialty, living only in clean waters.

At the end of 2020, floods caused the stream leading to Ba Faucet waterfall to be eroded, carrying each giant rock. In this landslide area, the trees died. After three years, the area still lacks the shade of trees.

From the last point, you can ride a motorbike in Da Sit village (Huong Hiep commune), it takes about 2 hours to walk along the stream to reach Ba Faucet waterfall. The road to the waterfall is hidden in the middle of the primeval forest, with many large trees up to one meter in diameter.

There are many steep and steep sections that are easy to slip and fall. The distance from waterfall one to waterfall three is about 30 minutes on foot.

Currently, Quang Tri province is planning to build a concrete pedestrian road to develop tourism at Ba Fai waterfall. This area is about an hour by motorbike from Dong Ha City.
