KIEN GIANG – Kiss The Stars show combines modern sound and light, attracting visitors to enjoy it at the beginning of the new year.

The multimedia technology show Kiss The Stars (The kiss between a thousand stars) took place in Hoang Hon town (An Thoi, Phu Quoc) on the evening of December 23, 2022. After a week of the debut, this stage attracts thousands of locals and visitors to experience.

On New Year’s Eve on December 31, 2022, more than 5,000 visitors sat in the stands to admire the combination of fire, water, laser, music and light effects at Kiss The Stars show. This is the latest art product of Sun Group in Phu Quoc, in collaboration with ECA2 – the production unit behind popular multimedia shows in 17 countries and the opening ceremony of the 1998 World Cup in Paris (France). .

Ms. Emmanuelle Charotte – ECA2 Deputy Director of Business Development said that Kiss The Stars converges many pioneering technologies implemented right on the southern coast of Phu Quoc island. The show immerses visitors in a unique multimedia, technology and artistic experience.
“The distance between the stage and the audience does not seem to exist in Kiss The Stars because each audience is not only a viewer but also a character in the story, boarding a train to travel through multiple dimensions of space and time, with unpredictable changes of scenery, music and effects,” shared Ms. Emmanuelle Charotte.

Kiss The Stars has a strong indigenous culture combined with fantasy elements about the universe. The performance is inspired by the love story of a man and a woman, the love for family and the battle to protect the planet, with the characters named after the five elements such as metal, wood, water, fire and earth. In the near future, the stage will also have the participation of international and domestic dancers.

Visitors have about 25 minutes to admire the combination of sound and light on the sea screen. Viewers’ emotions are sometimes guided by each stage of the show, from relaxation by the sea to suspense, to the climax of witnessing the clash between light and darkness or fire and water. From the tension when the character Fire throws his fists at the opponent to the satisfaction when the water explosions take place.

Hoang Ha, a tourist from Hanoi shared that even though he had experienced watching many water shows in the world such as Wings of Times (Singapore), he was still surprised by Kiss The Stars in Phu Quoc.

“The show’s elaborate and modern performance is no different from abroad, but it is very close because it was developed from the very context of Phu Quoc, Vietnam,” commented Mr. Ha.

Kiss The Stars stage is located in the town of Sunset, with a diameter of 100 m, inspired by the spectral image of cosmic black holes, consisting of three concentric arcs arranged in succession from small to large. . This is a technology of three consecutive projection domes, bringing a depth effect and 3D feeling to the show.

On the occasion of New Year’s Eve 2023, Phu Quoc is a destination chosen by many tourists. Besides the warm climate, new products such as Kiss The Stars show, Kissing Bridge (Kiss Brigde) … create more highlights for Ngoc Island to attract tourists in the future.
